The Compare Shop is a comparison website we aim to bring you as many prices from UK retailers as possible. By giving you more prices you have more information regarding the current available prices on the market. By showing them side by side you can quickly and easily see who is offering the best deal.

How Do We Use Cookies

When anyone visits the compare shop to compare prices for a specific product and decides to buy that product we earn a small commission (see how we make money below). To allow the commission to be allocated correctly we utilise cookies to identify which customers have been introduced by the compare shop.

  1. Open your browser as you would normally do

  3. Select the ‘Show Advanced Settings’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Content Settings’ option under the ‘Privacy’ section heading
  5. Choose which option you want and change the cookie setting to ‘Block sites from setting any data’ or leave it as it is.
  6. Click on the ‘OK’ button to add your selection to your browsing.
  7. Click on the ‘Close’ icon on the tab

  1. Open the main task bar and click on the Tools button then select the ‘Preferences’ tab
  2. Click on the ‘Security’ options panel
  3. Under the ‘Accept Cookies’ section click on ‘Never’
  4. Click on the X in the top right corner to close box
Apple iPad
  1. Open the main settings tool from the home page on the iPad
  2. Click on the ‘Safari’ link to open the options panel
  3. Under the ‘Accept Cookies’ section choose which open you would like click on either ‘Never’, 'From Visited' or 'Always'
  4. Once you have selected your choice the settings will be applied automatically
