Mercedes Benz has revealed the new coupe version of their super successful C-Class. The C-Class now has a two door version which allows Mercedes into the same market as the Audi A5 and BMW 3 series. This market is hugely popular and since Mercedes has not had a competitor in this range since they removed the CLK from the market. If you are looking to purchase the new C-Class or any other new vehicle compare car insurance prices to see how much you will be charged. As there are more variations in vehicles its worth checking the policy price as part of your purchasing process. This way you will know exactly how much you will be charged once you have purchased the vehicle. The C-Class Coupe is an interesting mix of the established saloon models and the sporty Mercedes cars. This mix gives the C-Class Coupe an elegance that you expect from a Mercedes saloon with the bite of the SLK. The specification of the UK Coupe will include the AMG Sport pack which we think is absolutely awesome. This comes with lowered suspension, a fantastic looking body kit and huge 18 inch alloys. The C-Class Coupe comes in five engine styles these include 3 petrol and 2 diesel, the diesel models are both 2.2 litres with 161 bhp. The three petrol options contain four cylinders up to a V6 350 model. The number of models and engines specs is great and gives those who are looking for something more to their taste a few options to choose from. The inside of the car is very special; the control panel includes the new Mercedes Command entertainment system. This comes with wireless internet connection with the option download routes from Google maps. You can also browse the internal whilst the car is static. This is an excellent option for the business community where you need to do a bit of research pre/post meeting and your Blackberry or iPhone is too small or slow for your requirements. Another new option in the entertainment system allows you to play music via Bluetooth, you can also read text messages through the dashboard. The car includes attention assisted package which reviews the driver to see if they are tired and also give greater assistance whilst parking. The ticket price is around £30,000 for the base model and will hit the UK forecourts in June, the first model will be unveiled in March. |
